How Much Do Dentures Cost?

Your costs will depend on your treatment needs and the type of dentures you choose. But rest assured knowing that Yonge & Eglinton Dentistry offers high-quality dentures at competitive prices. We are in-network with most major insurance plans and also offer flexible financing. Ask a friendly member of our staff to learn more about your payment options.

What are Traditional Dentures?

Dentures are removable prosthetic teeth that our team recommends in cases of partial or full-mouth tooth loss. They consist of acrylic bases and natural-looking artificial teeth. The bases are flesh-coloured to blend in with your surrounding gum tissue and hold your artificial teeth in place. Dentures restore the look and function of your natural bite.

The process of receiving dentures will take several appointments to complete. First, our dentist will design your denture from a series of impressions of your mouth. We use these highly detailed impressions to create a model. Next, you will try on the model several times to determine the proper shape, fit, and colour. Finally, you will receive your completed dentures, allowing you to speak, eat, and chew with confidence.

What is the Difference Between Partial Dentures and Full Dentures?

Full dentures are recommended to replace teeth in cases of full-mouth tooth loss. If you still have most of your natural teeth, our dentist may recommend a partial denture. Partial dentures, also known as removable bridges, can restore smiles in cases of two or more missing teeth.

What are Implant-Supported Dentures?

Also called fixed dentures, implant-supported dentures use a series of dental implants to permanently attach your denture to your jawbone. You will require a minor surgical procedure to place the implants into your jaw. Once the denture has been attached to the implants, you can care for it, just like natural teeth. Be sure to brush twice daily to maintain optimal oral health. If you already have dentures, we may recommend denture stabilization.
